Principal’s Message
Hello Villalovoz Families,
My name is Marji Baumann.
I am very excited to serve as principal of Villalovoz Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year. This will be my 35th year in education. I am still just as passionate about helping students reach their highest potential as I was the first day I became a teacher. The first 27 years of my career were spent teaching 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades. I have been in Tracy Unified School District for the past 7 years serving as the Induction Program Administrator and Assistant Principal at Central School, Poet Christian, and Wanda Hirsch Elementary. My husband is a teacher librarian and we have two beautiful daughters that we are very proud of. I am an avid reader, Harry Potter and Star Wars fanatic, and animal lover. I love spending time with my family and traveling to new places.
I believe that all students can learn. These past years have taught us all how resilient we are. To help our students persevere on the path of success, it is vital that we continue to build a strong team between the school, students, and parents/guardians, and the community.
I am honored to be a part of the Villalovoz family and am looking forward to working with the dedicated staff, parents, and students, to provide the best possible educational opportunities for all students.
