Principal’s Message
Hello Villalovoz Families,
My name is Marji Baumann.
I am honored to be serving as principal of Villalovoz Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. This will be my 38th year in education. I am still just as passionate about helping students reach their highest potential as I was the first day I became a teacher. The first 27 years of my career were spent teaching 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades. I have been in Tracy Unified School District for the past 10 years serving as an administrator. My husband is a retired educator, and we have two beautiful daughters, an incredible granddaughter, and a new grandson that we are very proud of. I am an avid reader, Harry Potter and Star Wars fanatic, and animal lover. I love spending time with my family, playing with our granddaughter, and traveling to Nebraska to visit our grandson as well as checking off our our bucket list items!
I believe that all students can learn. At Villalovoz we strive to build a strong team between the school, students, and parents/guardians. and the community.
I am honored to be a part of the Villalovoz family and am looking forward to working with the dedicated staff, parents, and students, to provide the best possible educational opportunities for all students.
